Funding Rates for Student Mobility (SMS)

The financial support for Erasmus+ stays of students is based on the varying living costs in the destination countries ("program countries").

Until the 2023 project year, the following funding rates will apply nationwide for three country groups for study stays (SMS):

• Group 1 (€600 per month): Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden.
• Group 2 (€540 per month): Belgium, Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Cyprus.
• Group 3 (€490 per month): Bulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary.

As of the 2024 project year, the following funding rates will apply for study stays (SMS) in three country groups:

• Group 1 (€600 per month): Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Sweden.
• Group 2 (€540 per month): Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Cyprus.
• Group 3 (€540 per month): Bulgaria, Croatia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Hungary.

However, the study abroad period may also include "Zero Grant" periods. These are days of stay without financial support from Erasmus+ but with Erasmus status. For more information regarding the funding of your Erasmus+ study stay, please contact Ms. Sekler directly.
