ECTS - Learning Agreement

The ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) has been developed by the European Commission in order to provide a standard, reliable recognition process of courses and studies completed abroad. Academic achievements can be measured, compared and transferred from one institution to another.

The so-called Learning Agreement must be signed before departure by the student, the person responsible at their home university as well as TU Clausthal. After the student’s arrival, the person responsible at TU Clausthal confirms with their signature that the student has arrived in Clausthal and begun their study program.  

Please note that changes to a study plan can still be made once in Clausthal. Naturally, these changes must be agreed upon by the student’s home university and TU Clausthal.
