Departure

Before you leave Clausthal and return to your home country, you should do a few things:

Make an appointment with your building manager/landlord
(handing over keys and inspection of room or apartment)
Have your internet connection deactivated
De-register your broadcasting fee
De-register from Registry Office in Clausthal
Close your bank account
Cancel your German health insurance policy
Book your train ticket to the airport/to your home country early (There are discount prices on offer for early bookings.)
For ERASMUS students: make a request for your Transcript of Records at the Testing Office (at least 3 weeks before your departure)
Register on the Alumni-Portal of TU Clausthal (see "Links")
