Registration at Registry Office

Students who would like to stay longer than three months in Clausthal-Zellerfeld are required by law to register within the first week after arrival at the Registry Office in Clausthal. For this, a passport or personal ID card and an address in Clausthal will be needed. Please retain the certificate of residency for future reference.

Important: In case you move during your stay in Germany, you must deregister in the Registry Office and inform them of your new address.
